You need JavaScript enabled to view it 608-280-0255 Phillips Mushroom Farms Donates to Support the National Sustainable Agriculture Standard Development Process Madison, WI – July 5, 2011 – Leonardo Academy recognized Phillips Mushroom Farms for its generous donation to support the development of the National Sustainable Agriculture Standard. This standard will provide guidance to producers on how they can increase the sustainability of their production and provide a system for documenting and communicating these sustainability achievements. The National Sustainable Agriculture Standard will empower producers to sell and buyers to buy sustainable agricultural products. The development of this standard is being led by Leonardo Academy, a charitable nonprofit organization and an ANSI accredited standard developer. Michael Arny, President of Leonardo Academy said, “Leonardo Academy appreciates the leadership of Phillips Mushroom Farms in providing its generous donation to support the development of the National Sustainable Agriculture Standard. This standard will empower both agricultural product producers and buyers to take action and increase the sustainability of agriculture.
