This 1.5 hour webinar presents the findings of studies done on the economics of LEED for New Contruction (LEED-NC) and LEED for Existing Buldings (LEED-EB). The course will present the results of surveys, case studies, and an analysis of what makes LEED implementation the smart choice for building owners and managers.

Course participants will be able to:

  • Identify the first costs of building LEED for New Construction and of becoming certified as a LEED for Existing Building
  • Compare the long-term costs and benefits of ownership of a LEED certified building versus a standard building
  • Explain and substantiate the costs associated with green building through the case studies presented
  • Access further resources on the economics of LEED
