In-Kind Donations PDF Print E-mail

While monetary donations are always appreciated, Leonardo Academy also accepts in-kind donations, including goods, services and equipment.

Leonardo Academy travel includes outreach, such as presenting at conferences, sustainability standards committee meetings, etc. Please consider donating airline tickets, frequent flyer miles, hotel stays, or the use of your organization’s private plane.

Land Management
Leonardo Academy’s 145-acre Valley Ridge Preserve in Richland, Wisconsin is a research, demonstration, and education site for sustainable land management. The preserve is gradually being restored to native woodland, oak savanna and prairie vegetation as funding becomes available.  Equipment needed for the ongoing restoration and maintenance is:

  • Tractor or Bobcat or the equivalent heavy machinery with a front bucket and backhoe
  • Heavy duty trailer
  • Suitable vehicle to tow a loaded trailer

If you have an interest in learning more about prairie restoration and would like hands-on experience, donate your time at the Valley Ridge Preserve.

Consider donating your time in your area of expertise. Most volunteer services can be delivered over the Internet. Suggested services include:

  • Writing articles for World Green®
  • Fundraising
  • Marketing
