Volunteer Opportunities:

Social Media Marketing (PDF)

• Help define and execute social media strategy using techniques to increase visibility, membership and traffic across all Leonardo Academy brands and Implement and manage specified media channels.
• Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities (“marketing R&D”)
• Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to increasing the use of social media at Leonardo Academy.
• Strategize with and educate the management team and others across the company on incorporating relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture and into all of the company’s products and services
• Measure the impact of social media on the overall marketing efforts. (Reports)

Blog Writer - World Green*

• Writing and researching editorial content
• Proofreading and formatting content
• Assisting staff with administrative duties
• Assisting editorial staff as needed on projects

IT Internship

• Rising junior or senior, in good standing with their university
• Computer Science or Engineering major/minor or demonstrated experience
• A self-starter, who can think creatively and strategically with the ability to follow through with their ideas
• Ability to work both cooperatively and independently.
• Note: Professionals interested in the topic  of this internship that have time to donate are invited to apply to participate in the Leonardo Academy Fellows program.

World Green® seeks writing interns for fall, spring and summer terms. This is a unpaid blog writing opportunity. Blog writers will have the opportunity to produce original content for one of the Web's most successful and innovative environmental media sites. Interns should be organized and self-starters. A strong writing/journalism background is recommended, as well as an interest in environmental issues. Basic HTML skills and familiarity with content management systems and social media is very helpful but not required.
