Experience
Leonardo
Academy has been a support contractor for the U.S. Green Building
Council’s (USGBC) LEED for Existing Buildings (LEED-EB) Rating
System since 2001. In this role, Leonardo Academy:

Managed the LEED-EB Rating System pilot program

Lead
authored the LEED-EB Reference Guide

authored the initial LEED-EB training materials and course

Conducted all LEED-EB Certification Application reviews from
2002 to present
Michael
Arny, President of Leonardo Academy, was Chair of the USGBC LEED
for Existing Buildings Committee from 2001 through 2005. In this
role, Michael Arny was responsible for guiding the USGBC LEED-EB
Committee’s work on developing, pilot testing, refining, and
balloting the rating system.
Leonardo
Academy also prepared “Deliver the Green,” a guide to LEED-EB
and facility management, with funding from the International
Facility Managers Association (IFMA)
Foundation.
