Understanding the LEED-EB Certification Process
Leonardo Academy is working to educate Facility Managers about the LEED-EB registration, certification and application process. We recently completed the IFMA-Foundation funded White Paper, "Deliver the Green – A Fresh Look at LEED-EB and Facility Management" that also includes surveyed data from Facility Managers on best sustainable building practices. The Report was released as part of IFMA World Workplace 2006 Conference that took place October 8-10 in San Diego, CA.

Leonardo Academy provides LEED-EB Certification Application review and LEED-EB program technical support and services. Leonardo Academy carried out all LEED-EB Certification Application reviews for the Pilot Version of the rating system and all LEED-EB Version 2.0 Certification Application reviews through September 2007. Increasing the Environmental Sustainability of Organizations
Leonardo Academy helps companies, organizations and events become more sustainable. We also help them promote these good deeds. We worked with SCA Tissue North America of Neenah, WI to investigate what steps SCA Tissue could take to increase the sustainability of their manufacturing facilities and operations. We also investigated ways to align and promote their current sustainable activities and products to the growing green building and LEED-EB market.

Leonardo Academy's Cleaner & Greener® Program
While most emissions offsetting programs focus only on greenhouse gasses, Leonardo Academy's Cleaner and Greener program works to reduce and offset emissions that fuel climate change, as well as those that are detrimental to human health. The program makes it simple for organizations, buildings, events and individuals to reduce their environmental footprint and to live more sustainably by reducing and offsetting emissions. More
